Tracie Turinese Bio

Cake Artist Tracie Turinese specializes in creating beautiful and unique sugar creations, which extend far beyond traditional sugar and cake decorating. Her recipes and designs are showcased in her popular downtown Franklin bakery, The Cake Bar, which opened its doors in 2011. As a repeat competitor and gold medal winner of the Food Network Challenge, she has received numerous national and local awards, and has been showcased on television shows such as TV Diner, and written about in publications such as Cake Central Magazine. In addition to her full cake design schedule, Tracie also teaches both beginner and advanced cake design classes, and is in the middle of writing her first book, expected to be out in mid 2014.
