Here are some comments from recent visitors to The Clarke Culinary Center…
Found The Clarke Culinary Center on Google. Matt Storch is an amazing chef as well as person. His food paired with the wine and good conversation made the night flawless. Honestly the best plates of food I've ever eaten. I was 100% satisfied with the class content, locations and food. I have already been spreading the word to numerous people and it has not even been 24 hours. I will be coming back for certain.
Renita was fantastic - she is a natural. I can't belive how much I learned in such a short amount of time. I've taken classes all over, and this was the best experience I've had. Thank you!!
Chef Rui was exceptional. He was young, talented, vigorous and demonstrated that he cared. He made many appetizers that required considerable prepping.
What a wonderful evening with Fritz and Christian; fun and so informative; I loved it! I always leave with gold nuggets of information and new acquaintances made.

I loved the class and plan to return for many others. I've even made three of the recipes I walked away with. I'd give the class a 5 (out of 5) for sure. I have already recommended the classes to other "foodies" I know.
I felt like I hit the jackpot when I discovered The Clarke Culinary Center in SONO. What is so special about The Clarke Culinary Center, you ask? Well! They know how to do it right. The advantage is that every attendee is able to hold meaningful conversations with the chef in the house…and learn from all his/her experiences.

Chef Scotti of Da Pietro - he is FABULOUS in demonstrating and very entertaining.
This was only my second class. I thought Chef Rui was fabulous. Extremely personable, passionate about cooking, patient, knowledgeable. No arrogance which was really nice. And everything was DELICIOUS!
I brought some clients for whom I did a kitchen design and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. . . it was fascinating to watch Matt Storch work, learned some new things and were positively stuffed with all of his delicious cooking -- everyone agreed that we would do another evening as soon as possible. Also, great value for the event..
I have to tell you, the Ming Tsai class on Thursday was wonderful. I thought the Andy Husbands class was great, but this one was even greater! I am letting all of my friends know about these classes and will definitely attend again in the future.
Jean-Louis' cooking class was a Christmas gift from my two 20-something daughters who attended with me. The class was wonderful. I love cooking myself so this was a one-of-a-kind experience for me. The girls found it easy to register and I did follow-up after on the website and by phone. The champagne discussion/tasting was wonderful as well, as we do vineyard vacations and have been to many vineyards and tastings over the years but this was our first of champagne only. I have recommended Clarke Culinary Center to everyone I have spoken with since the class! Many thanks for a memorable evening!
This event was an unforgettable evening of inventive food, chef personalities and culinary surprises that will stand as one of my favorite food moments this year. The popular vote (for the Clarke Chef Shoot Out in SoNo) cast by the crowd went to Chef Storch, with the judges deciding vote going to Chef Knipschildt. Knipschildt will face a yet-to-be named challenger (our sources point to another well-known chef outside of the SoNo scene) for the next show down event early in 2011. If the next event is anything like this evening, grab your best foodie friends and get tickets early because you won't want to miss it.

I attended last night's class in South Norwalk. It was absolutely wonderful and I want to sign up for the next one!
My Daughter Holly & I attended the sauce class. The chef was great. She was very energized. She got us all involved and it was a very great experience. She was very good at coming around & making sure everything was wonderful. It was a well spent three hours and I would highly recommend you to friends.
